CARWH sends a letter to the federal Ministry of Labour

In December 2013, CARWH sent a detailed letter to the federal Ministry of Labour commenting on the proposed changes to the Canadian Labour Code occupational health and safety provisions in Bill C-4. The letter arose out of a request to the board from the membership at the November Annual General Meeting. CARWH is concerned about the more than one million federal employees and thousands of businesses in Canada who will be affected by these provisions that we see as weakening protection of workers from hazardous workplace health exposures. Please see here for the full letter.
