Advocacy letter to PM Trudeau on Research on Asbestos (2016)
CARWH president Catherine Trask (2016) sent a letter to PM Trudeau on behalf of the CARWH Board of directors to propose the establishment of a concerted Federal-Provincial-Territorial research program towards the mitigation of health and economic impacts of occupational and environmental exposure to asbestos and elongated mineral particles in Canada. You can read that letter here. The letter was also sent to CIHR Institute of Population & Public Health Director Dr. Steven Hoffman and the Canadian Environmental Law Association.
